However, complete classification is hard to pin down and meets the entire requirements of all classes. Cars can be classified according to their performance, car segment, fuel consumption, and mechanical specifications.

This category of vehicles that are classified according to the purpose they are used. Commercial cars, exotic cars, family cars, sports cars &, and racing cars.

 There are three unique types of cars for modern consumers:

  • economy
  • sports
  • luxury

Economy cars vary in performance, size, profitability, and production numbers. During production, many cars produced are expensive and only afforded by the rich. However, production companies and agencies realized they could enhance their profits by manufacturing affordable cars for the general population at low cost. The Model T car, invented by Ford in 1908, became the first economy car in the world. The first major feature of economy cars is that they have low prices. These cars are usually small, and the features of the car depend on the period of manufacture. They have compulsory safety belt features but lack convenience features such as GPS systems and air conditioning. One of the best examples of an economy car is the Japanese Toyota Corolla which has been sold at a higher level than any other vehicle in the world.

Another type of unique car is the sports car. These cars are designed to have better power and performance than normal cars. Many cars are specially manufactured for two passengers, have two doors, and have sleek bodies. Originally, they had small bodies that were compatible with varying sizes, with many manufacturers increasing their seating numbers to enhance practicality.

These are designed to lead to maneuverability, acceleration, and braking. The main key of these vehicles is that the handling characteristics have been greatly improved every year, enabling the driver to keep the car in control even in very severe conditions.

Last but not least, this type of unique car in the market is a luxury or comfortable car. These vehicles are designed to enhance ease and comfort. The main features that aim to achieve this goal of comfort and ease.

Economy, sports, and luxury cars are manufactured for a specific consumer group and vary in price, embedded, and functionality features. Consuming power, taste, and preferences is necessary for deciding on an automobile class. One will buy to keep these specifications in mind.

  • Limousine:

Limousine is one of the best and perfect choices if you search for a luxury car. The main feature is that it is designed in such a way that they fulfill all the consumer needs. The upper body is sleek. The luxurious compartments inside the car make it one of the most expensive. They have a separate domain area for the driver and the passengers with the partition. Toyota century, Hyundai Equus limousine, Great wall hover, and Chrysler 300 limousine are some advanced classes of limousines in production.

  • Microcars:

An economy car is easily affordable by all consumers. They are specially made to fulfill the requirements of medium-income people. It also has the advantage of low running costs with less carbon dioxide emissions. Microcars (1) are a combination of motorbike cars. The engine’s 1-liter capacity makes it easily adjustable for the seating of two passengers. These automobiles can be either three-wheelers or four-wheelers. Due to advanced development in technology, automakers are being to manufacture electric cars. Some examples of these vehicles are Tata Nano etc.

  • Sports utility vehicles:

Another type that falls on the list of this type is the SUV which has become increasingly popular. The SUV is a large car carrying five to seven passengers with three rows of seats. They have the same features as a crossover, except for a built-in body-on-frame chassis. They generally come with the latest and advanced electrical developments. Manufacturers have introduced SUVs in different sizes – compact, medium, and full size. A most suitable and affordable example of an SUV is the Range Rover and Jeep Cherokee.

  • Hatchbacks:

Hatchbacks are the best option for people who want a bigger seating capacity with enough storage space for their luggage. These cars are available in multiple sizes, and you can also customize some features according to your comfort. These vehicles are designed for the more flexible purpose. Volkswagen Golf and Kia Rio are two widely available hatchback models.
